10.0Beautiful views. Upgraded to hilltop villa with infinity pool. Staff often mentioned family name.
− I liked everything
Great Facilities, Super Relaxing, Extras are very overpriced.
8.0The beach is immaculate, facilities are simply amazing. Staff are super friendly and go above an beyond to make sure your stay is memorable. An amazing place to enjoy your honeymoon
− Vendors on the private beach constantly hassle you to buy their boat tours. This happens even when you are clearly listening to headphones or reading a book. Also the food is not great quality considering the price. Average food for £150 for a meal for two.

10.0The new spa is AMAZING
− all good.
Lovely relaxing stay… sort out the food & the vibes and I’ll come back!
8.0Very generously sized room: we actually had a whole “apartment” with two bedrooms & two en suites. Comfortable, clean, good air con, good shower, lovely shampoo etc (L’Occitane!). Would recommended they introduce refill bottles though, single use plastic is not ok. Beach setup was lovely, really easy to get good sunbeds. Lots of activities available for those that wanted them. We were able to just rent snorkels and take them out with us to other beaches. Not a huge area to swim but this was due to high numbers of sea urchins in one patch; kudos to Windjammer for marking this area as risky rather than removing sea creatures! Parking at the resort was easy, I don’t think many tourists choose to drive in St Lucia (but you should because it’s totally fine and not scary and gives you much more freedom) Taxi service was good when we needed it (ie when we wanted to go out and drink/smoke) Breakfast was absolutely smashing, great choice of things, would recommend small portions and multiple courses to ensure you can try it all! On the whole the clientele seemed like quite nice, ordinary people compared to the high percentage of awful people we observed when we went to the beaches occupied by high-end resorts. Lots of Caribbean people from neighbouring islands arrived to stay for the jazz festival, which was encouraging to see.
− Nothing awful, but a couple of things worth mentioning: 1) As others have mentioned, the room isn’t completely airtight to mosquitoes, could have better seals on the doors etc. (The number of mozzies getting in was minimal and one can’t expect to completely avoid them in a tropical climate). This would mean they wouldn’t “need” to fog, which is appallingly bad for the environment and local ecosystem and nobody should be doing this. The chemicals also leach into the sea, which Windjammer claims to be invested in protecting. 2) Food at the resort (with the exception of breakfast, see above) is overpriced and just okay, not great, in keeping with most resort food aimed at tourists. We only ate there the evening we arrived and the afternoon that we left. There were also the most enormous cockroaches flying around in the restaurant and occasionally landing on people… these are also to be expected in tropical places but it was very off-putting and we didn’t see them in any other restaurants we ate at! If you want good food, go local and support small local businesses. You won’t regret it. 3) Music situation in the restaurants was comically bad! They had two live musicians at the same time, with overlapping sound, plus they had left the quiet background music on in the speakers?! The musician where we sat was playing weird pop covers on a violin with a backing track and it honestly sounded like he had started learning violin within the last year. Very distracting if you care about music in any way. We actually asked to be moved from the lovely romantic table they had given us, just to be further away from the music. Also heard zero Caribbean/ local music being played in the restaurant/ bars whilst we were there. The only good music we heard at the resort was from a guy who turned up to the beach on a boat, possibly a water taxi, who had a speaker playing reggae etc.
