− Room was dirty, poop on around the toilet bowl and lots of dog hair on the duvets.
A Great Stay In A Fantastic City
10.0We booked this 9 months in advance with the world cup being on and found it hard to get value for money in Vancouver with this being the best option available. Although at close to £1700 for 7 nights it did seem over priced to say the least. We arrived and had a pleasant greeting by the reception and a quick easy check in which is always nice after a long day's travelling. We had a kitchenette room which was equipped enough to prepare breakfast and drinks when needed. The bathroom had a bath shower which did the job after a busy days sighteseeing. The best way I can describe it from the outside is how you picture a roadside motel in the movies, but saying that we had a great stay, good nights sleep and the air-con was a blessing on the warmer nights just to take the edge off. Its about a 20 minute taxi into the city, which is how we navigated the first couple of days, or a similar time using the skytrain which is a more than reliable alternative. Five stars seems high for the price we paid, but taking points off would seem harsh as the property was as described and the staff were pleasant and helpful and of course the Duck.
