6.0It all depends on context. I visited this property during Monterey Car Week when even the Motel 6 is a $600 a night investment. The motel has a very convenient location and the staff was great with 24 hour per day on site security ensuring that the place was as safe as possible. With all that said, the rooms are outdated and a bit worn, though relatively clean. During MCW, I have stayed at places running the entire gamut from $1800 a night to motels like this. Overall, I think the value was great and I would recommend this during those high leverage occasions when the budget doesn't permit spending several thousands of dollars for what is a bed for a few hours a night. As long as your eyes are open and expectations realistic, it wasn't a horrible experience.

2.0This hotel was absolutely unacceptable. It was so bad we left even though they refused to refund. Walls were damaged, there was holes in the sheets, and the tv did not work. It was bot cery clean. I wish I haf taken pictures to post. It should be removed due to poor quality. I had stayed here years ago without concern. Just a place for the night. It’s so bad they had a security guard on site at tiny motel.

6.0The Establishment did not meet even the lowest of expectations especially for a single female Traveler. I felt very uncomfortable and ended up not staying. There was lots of deferred maintenance and I just did not feel comfortable staying. Before booking this hotel I would check in and see if they have cleaned things up.
