I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location was perfect—just a short walk from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever I wanted. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. It was a nice relaxing get away

Not Worth the High Room Rate

This was our first time visiting Rehoboth Beach coming from NYC. We thought we booked a luxury hotel. Some aspects of the place seemed rundown. The adult pool area looked very sad and forlorn. A paint job was needed on doors and tabletops. The fire pit wasn’t working the evening we thought we could use it to keep the mosquitoes away. I ordered a cappuccino at the bar one evening but the bartender did not know how to operate the machine. The breakfast spread looked amazing. Looking closer revealed fresh fruit was the kind that is frozen then thawed out for serving. There were not many healthy options to eat - plenty of mundane carbs and fried selections. Speaking to staff about the hotel, I learned the place is now owned by a cooperation and not enough attention is given to maintenance. The room was clean as expected. Surprised that the toilet was not standard height; a child would appreciate it. So at almost $600 a night plus $15 a night for parking, we expected a more exceptional experience. We agreed it was not worth the money.

Poor Customer Service

Have visited multiple times with good results ,however this stay was very disappointing The A/C in our room quit during the middle of the first night ... room got to 80 degrees (basically not able to sleep) ... it was so hot and muggy in the room that i was unable to even take a shower) . They did move me the next day which was great, but we had to hang out until the next room was ready. Upon checkout i asked for some compensation / consideration ( btw it was a Suite with a nightly rate approaching $1000 ) and was given about $150 in concessions ( so nothing really) ... there were a lot of people in the lobby so i chose not to make an issue of it at the time .... instead i contacted the GM and asked for a call to discuss ... i have tried 4 times with no results ... you would not expect that from a high end Inn ... therefore unless something changes very quickly i will NOT be returning ...

Always a pleasure

I come to Rehoboth once a summer and stay here. It's an experience I share with my daughter. We share a garden room which overlooks a peaceful and lush garden area with a koi pond and gentle waterfall. We love the included breakfasts, the proximity to Rehoboth Blvd, the beach, lots of shops and restaurants. There is never a problem with parking at the hotel. The staff does a nice job-- rooms are very clean. There is also a bar -- drinks were great. They have a nice lunch menu; the food is fresh and tasty. This time we tried the onsite spa, and enjoyed that as well.

They screwed up and ended up not being able to accommodate my family

My family and I booked the Palmer House at The Bellmoor and were set to check in tomorrow. I received a confirmation email today and the room listed as the one we would receive was the Aspen/Frisco room, which is a “club suite” in the 25 and older only area of the hotel that can only accommodate 2 people. Well, I’m traveling with two kids and my husband, a total of 4 guests, so that wouldn’t work. I called the front desk today so I wouldn’t have to deal with the hassle of their error at check-in tomorrow and long story short, they didn’t have any other rooms available and therefore couldn’t accommodate my family. They refunded me and gave me the info of a hotel they reached out to that should have a room for my family. I looked up the hotel online and it just wasn’t what we were looking for as far as where we were going to stay on vacation. I called back The Bellmoor and I was just out of luck. My family vacation isn’t happening because The Bellmoor made a mistake and gave me the information of a dingy looking hotel. 0/0 would not recommend
