8.0A beautiful hotel. Food was good but a bit overpriced. Walking in the town was pleasant. Not so great: Had to sign the standard waiver saying the hotel would not be responsible for ‘lost’ or stolen items; but there wasn’t a safe in the room. Also the hotel did not take cash so we couldn’t change larger bills in order to leave tips. Staff were very reserved, did not really feel welcome here. Also upon checkout Front Desk tried to get me to pay for additional drinks I did not have… asked to see the chit and although it was my room number it was not my signature. Very uncomfortable as they were quite insistent and it was difficult to communicate (I do not speak Spanish and their English was poor). In the end I refused to pay.
