10.0Outstanding service. Both hard product, and soft product, one of the best hotels I've stayed in anywhere in the world. I know this sounds like an exaggeration. It is not. When we arrived, my partner had just experienced a fall. They provided the contact information for a doctor fluent in English that made a house call to the hotel for 100 Euros. They brought ice to him within seconds. And more ice to the room. But most of all, they treated us with genuine care and kindness. The breakfast buffet is overflowing with abundance. Both British and Italian style breakfasts available.

9.0I chose this hotel because of its location as close to but not in the city centre Apple Maps says it’s a 24 minute walk into the town but it never took us that long Usually 10 to 15 minutes Walking in Bologna is aided by the porticos which line all streets and keep the roads in shade
