Spacious and updated units plus a good location make this a win.

We had a really nice stay here. The room was large, comfortable and updated. It was clean and we had no issues. Parking was easy. It was also a good location, close enough to the four that 192. Traffic was rarely an issue for us.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Zimri for his outstanding leadership as Hotel Manager. His professionalism, dedication, and commitment to ensuring an exceptional guest experience made our family stay truly memorable. We would also like to recognize Ariel at the front desk for his genuine warmth, kindness, and willingness to assist us at all times. His friendly attitude, efficiency, and exceptional customer service made us feel welcome and at home from the moment we arrived. Thank you both for making our stay such a wonderful experience. Your hospitality reflects the highest standards of customer service and excellence. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

Don't Call It a Survey

6.0

This review is specifically about the sales presentation experience associated with Club Wyndham Cypress Palms. I currently have the Discovery + Leisure package, which is valid for five years. I've already had it for two years, and this was actually the first time I used my points to book a vacation. I don't travel often enough to justify buying vacation ownership, and I made that clear from the beginning. Ironically, the only reason I even purchased the Discovery + Leisure package was because of my very first presentation. I was there for over **four hours** despite expecting something much shorter. I felt so pressured that I eventually agreed to purchase the package just so the presentation would finally end and I could leave. Looking back, it felt like a huge waste of my vacation time. For this trip, we were told we had to attend what was described as a one-hour "survey" within the first two days of our vacation. It wasn't even held at our resort. We had to wake up early and drive about **13 minutes away for an 8:00 a.m. appointment**, cutting into our vacation, only to find out it wasn't a survey at all—it was another vacation ownership sales presentation. What really concerned us was what happened before we even got there. The front desk employee told us we could be "penalized" if we didn't attend. When my boyfriend asked what "penalized" actually meant, the employee couldn't explain it and simply said he just worked there. That conversation made us feel like we didn't really have a choice, even though no one could clearly tell us what would happen if we didn't go. From the beginning of the presentation, I told them I wasn't interested in buying ownership. My boyfriend and I said **no** multiple times, but instead of respecting our decision, they kept bringing in different representatives with different offers and payment options. The presentation lasted about **1 hour and 40 minutes**, well beyond the one hour we were told. Every time we declined, it felt like someone else came over to try a different approach. At one point, they presented an ownership option that would have roughly **doubled my monthly payment**. I explained that I can barely afford what I'm paying now, so there was absolutely no way I was taking on an even bigger financial commitment. Even after explaining that, they continued trying to convince us. We were also told we wouldn't have to pay anything to attend, but then were asked for a **$40 security hold**. Yes, I received it back afterward, but it should have been disclosed upfront instead of being another surprise. I don't have a problem with companies selling vacation ownership. My problem is with the lack of transparency. If it's a sales presentation, call it a sales presentation. Don't advertise it as a "survey" or make guests feel like they have to attend without clearly explaining why. By the end, both my boyfriend and I were beyond frustrated because it felt like our repeated "no" wasn't being respected. We finally got up and left because we'd reached our limit. No guest should feel like they have to keep explaining why they don't want to make such a major financial commitment while they're supposed to be enjoying their vacation. As for the resort itself, it was okay, but nothing that really stood out or made the experience memorable. Unfortunately, the sales tactics completely overshadowed our stay. One last thing—and this is the joke my boyfriend and I came up with after going through all of this: yes, they'll offer you coffee, water, and snacks while you're there. Just know it might end up being the **most expensive cup of coffee or snack of your life** if you walk out signing a vacation ownership contract. 😂 All jokes aside, I will never attend another one of these so-called "surveys." I just wish Wyndham would be upfront with guests from the start. Honest communication and respect for people's time would go a long way.
