We Enjoyed Staying Here!
9.0This was a great location for us to attend a retirement ceremony at Scott AFB which is about 15 minutes from there. Lots of shops and food around as well. Very clean. Staff is friendly. Full breakfast that was great. I was surprised they didn’t have coffee makers in the rooms and it’s because the coffee downstairs tastes wonderful! We felt safe and didn’t have to worry about our car getting broken in to. Would definitely stay here again.
− Our key cards kept deactivating. Not sure if it was because of our phones or the cards themselves but the staff would fix it. There is construction on the highway before the property but that is out of Holiday Inn’s control.
Would’ve been 10/10 if kids didn’t clack like the hall way was a playground
7.0Great staff / breakfast. Rooms were very nice and clean
− I stayed in 227 where kids were running up and down the hall way all day no parents in sight to take after them. It was very frustrating as they also kept screaming like it’s a play ground.
Highly Recommended Hotel
10.0The staff were super friendly. The rooms were super clean, one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The location was conveniently located. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Piss Poor
2.0DO NOT STAY HERE. The staff are a piss poor representation of the company. My partner and I were kicked out of our room due to a noise complaint. The staff came to the room and wanting to know if everything is okay. Initially, my boyfriend told the staff everything is okay and that we would be leaving soon. The staff demanded to know if I was okay and after confirming that I was they were asked to leave us alone. One of the staff members who appeared to be on some kind of drug was extremely disrespectful and visually threatening towards my boyfriend. Words were exchanged and the situation escalated and then quickly quieted down. My boyfriend left the room but I remained inside for a little while to gather my things. 5mins later the “manager” came banging on the door. I was trying to find something to put on and he continued to bang on the door and continued trying to enter EVEN AFTER I SCREAMED TO HIM THAT I DID NOT HAVE CLOTHES ON. He yelled stating we had 10mins to get out and continued to harass me on the other side of the door. 10mins later he came back with a police officer. As I was speaking to the officer, the “manager” stood behind the police making faces and stuck his middle finger up at me. Mind you, I’m a black female who “to what they considered” was in distress. If they were so concerned about me, why was I being treated like I did anything wrong? I was then escorted out of the building with police and the front desk staff continued to harass me on my way out. I can only assume that I was being treated poorly because I am a woman of color. The manager was childish, disrespectful for no reason, and possibly socially awkward but extremely low class in how he handled a situation he knew nothing about. IGH should be more mindful about who they hire especially putting ppl who are low on the spectrum in high authoritative positions. Hotel management should be lead by individuals who are professional and care about the integrity of the company. Not people who lack decorum and argue with guests. He should consider pushing carts at the grocery store. All of this has been reported to corporate and will be handled justly.
Guest review
6.0− Old saggy beds, shower dirty, stained carpets, couch and decor dated
This hotel should have been nicer for the price we paid
5.0Close to the highway
− Needs to be updated, not very clean
