8.0Service very limited in this part of resort which is made of 3 hotels. Very clean, great breakfast with plenty of choice. Beautiful resort all in all, good facilities, older. but very well looked after.

10.0We thoroughly enjoyed our 7night stay at The Residence (30/8/25-5/9/25) and would definitely recommend. The apartment was modern, clean, very roomy, bedroom, 2 bathrooms, lounge area, dining area, a very well equipped kitchen and balcony. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The gardens and pool area were absolutely beautiful and well maintained. The hotel complex is huge and has everything you could possibly want or need but it is very easy to get disorientated and lost! Madeira is a beautiful island we would definitely like to return.

10.0Femte gang på Porto Mare. Residence er rigtigt flot og har meget høje standarder. Meget hjælpsomt personale. Vi måtte rejse hjem før tid, vi fik fuld refund fra hotellet. Meget imødekommende og professionelt. Kan varmt anbefale stedet. Vi kommer tilbage.

8.0We had a really nice view from our room of the beach below. The room was spacious and very clean. For me the bed was not very comfortable as I am a side sleeper and the mattress was fairly hard. It wasn’t really close to old town, so we had to get transportation back and forth.
