Bay vocation
10.0Helpful staff, good food, clean environment!!!! Location was safe and convenient for shopping. I'd go back again. Family suite was the perfect size for my kids and I.
Perfect spot to explore the Bay Area
10.0Breakfast was great, nice pool, and a super convenient location for getting to SanFrancisco, Marin, or anywhere in the East Bay
Sub-par
4.01. On day 2 of my stay, I requested trash and towel service only. My towels and trash were refreshed the next day, which was great. However, they never returned for trash or towels for the rest of the week! Please note I did NOT have my do not disturb door hanger displayed. 2. I walked up and down my floor searching for the ice machine. After 2 passes, I called the front desk and asked where to find ice. I was told ice is located on the 5th and 9th floor only. This is quite inconvenient, however, it is acceptable. BUT there should be some signage or notification to let people know where the ice is located, and a scavenger hunt and frustrated call to the front desk shouldn't be needed. 3. While on hold for 4 minutes to request a change in my level of service (see above) the recorded message indicated that custom omelet's were available at breakfast! However, the next day at breakfast, I asked a staff member who was behind the bar, if they made omelet's, and he said no. So disappointing!
Great place to stay
10.0I stayed in this hotel for almost a week; I travel with kids (2-16). All the staff was very kind and helpful. cleaning staff was very attentive and checked in with me every day if any of my rooms needed cleaning. First time visiting San Franscisco, very windy so the pool may have been a little for me, but for the kids it was amazing. Little bar areas and fire pit outside was good to just sit down and have a good drink. Hotel was very close to a lot of stores, even walking distance. If God permits and we every travel that way again, I will definitely stay there again for sure.
OK hotel with horrible parking
6.0This hotel is good enough, but the parking situation is atrocious. I’ve never seen a parking lot with parking spaces this narrow. I’m guessing 50% of cars are scratched or dinged because of this. This was the single worst Parking design I’ve ever experienced in my . I expect far, far better from Hyatt hotels. The Wi-Fi is very slow with intermittent cut outs. Other than that, it’s what you would expect from a Hyatt house in this geographic area. Hyatt parking fees are becoming highway robbery. People think they’re getting a decent price for the hotel room, but the parking ends up being 25% of the cost. to me this bait and switch approach is below what I would expect from this chain.
Overnight Stat
10.0Shout out to Lisa for making my check-in process fast and easy after a 52 hour train ride! Location, cleanliness met my expectations; with a variety of restaurants within a walking distance. Not to mention how close and easy access to Amtrak train station.
