− Was emailed the day before I arrived to say the restaurant was fully booked but they could supply a charcuterie board in the bar. Great, I thought. Got to the hotel, had 2 pints of beer and then was told there was no one to make the board. Due to the location of the hotel I would've needed my vehicle to get to somewhere to sell food so I wish they'd told me sooner as I was over the limit. Had to order a McDonalds on Uber Eats.
Not suitable for the elderly, no lift.
4.0Shower. WiFi. Location. Quiet.
− Not suitable for elderly people. We knew there was no lift but the stairs has a flimsy and rickety hand rail. Anyone stumbling would fall through it. The shower was brilliant but there were no grab rails for the elderly fitted. The kettle had to be taken to the sink for water with all the cable and plug. The socket for the kettle is low down and difficult to reach. The cable was not long enough and only just reached the table. It is not long enough to pour into the cups. The selection of tea/coffee/milk was very poor. Slow service for the evening meal. It took from 7.15 pm to 8.45 pm to serve two courses.
