The property was excellent. Clean and great staff. Had a microwave and little mini fridge in the room. Loved this place

10.0We had an excellent time at Fairfield Inn. The hotel was in excellent condition, both room & common area. The coffee was hot and the food was hot. This was a great hotel for a last minute trip to KC. Affordable, supremely located, and very easy to find. We rode the train in to see the Big Boy 4014 steam locomotive. Thanks to Kansas City’s commitment to the renewal of a world class transportation system, being the Main Street Streetcar, we were able to travel from Union Station to our Hotel, 2 stops down at Union Hill, using only the fare-free Streetcar. Utilizing affordable, comfortable transportation options allowed us to enjoy the short day in KC with merchandise from the event, multiple incredible local meals, and a few drinks to end the evening. We will be back to explore the rest of the area very soon.
