Pricey with pet fees but met our needs

− Pet fee per dog put the stay over $500 which is too high for the value. Need to lower the fee for 2 dogs. Cleaning doesn’t cost that much. Hosts seemed confused about complimentary breakfast. Also requested first floor and got the 4th. Age of the building shows. Hallways and elevators need updated.

− View was terrible. 2nd floor looked out on the gravel roof of another building. The pool seating was inadequate, too few lounge chairs.
june weekend visit
10.0don't understand the poor reviews, we just got back and have already planned another visit. it is an older hotel that has recently been upgraded , its not an ocean front Ritz Carlton, its a smaller resort in the Midwest and is priced accordingly, Jordan at the front desk and Steve the bellman especially stand out as excellent staff members who go above and beyond.
The stay was completely overshadowed by the sewage smell permeating the hallways and rooms.
4.0The location was what we needed for the work events we were in town for. Traffic was a nightmare, but that was due to construction.
− There was a terrible sewage smell that permeated the hallways and rooms. The staff moved me to a room that wasn't as bad but it was still noticeable. It was almost like the staff didn't want to admit that there was a clear and noticeable issue. This may have been instructed by management but it was odd and too noticeable to gloss over.
