I enjoyed my short visit to Mendocino. The little cottage was well kept, clean and friendly.

Great place if traveling with or without a pet
10.0We brought our pup and this was a great place for travelers with pets. Our pup had her own bed, bowls, a towel for dirty paws, poopy bags, a frisbee and a bed sheet. We stayed in the Rose Cottage.and could view the ocean from our porch. The property had a lot of land to walk around with your pet. It’s a great place and highly recommend if traveling with a pet or even without one .

9.0The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The amenities were thoughtful (a small bottle of wine, a telescope, a footstool to climb onto a high bed if needed, earplugs if needed). The bed was very comfortable and I had a lovely night's sleep. The location is good - quiet and you will be "off the grid" with limited cell service (they do have WiFi) - kind of adds to the charm of having a peaceful night away. Everyone was very friendly and the check in was easy - they send a code to open the door. They were always there to help and assist in any way, if needed. The location is about a 10 minute drive from the small town of Mendocino- this was a nice place to go to for dinner and a walk around the shops. The parking is very easy at the inn and in Mendocino.
