Great holiday, lovely hotel.

We have just returned from Kata Palm Resort. The first thing I would like to say is the staff look very happy, from the front desk to the gardeners. The swimming pools are surrounded by trees, giving a very chilled vibe and perfect mix of shade and sun, enough sun shades around too. The location is great, lots just outside the hotel, bars, shops, restaurants. The beautiful beach a few minutes walk away. Our room was in the Royal Blue Wing, the view was not great but we were not in our room much as the local area was great. Despite lots around us, we were not bothered by noise. While there was not an huge choice at breakfast, we never went hungry. We took part in a fruit carving lesson, while we were not very good, it was great fun. My husband and I had our marriage blessed in Wat Chalong Temple, the hotel staff helped to plan this for us, everything was perfect. Many thanks to you all at the hotel for a great stay.

Lovely Hotel

An excellent hotel in an excellent location. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff were very friendly. At first we were a bit worried that all the eating areas were outside as it was so hot, but actually we liked this as it was always a calm and pleasant eating experience. The evening meal was a mixture of buffet nights and choosing from the menu. The pool was excellent, nice and shaded with the trees. The location was on the main street with so much going on, but the hotel was quiet. There was not entertainment or loud music around the pool, which is what we prefer.

Fab location , lovely pools although annoying that people reserved sunbeds early morning and did not use them. Hotel room we stayed in a little tired and in need of refurb. Good selection of food at breakfast although butter left little to be desired. Our cleaner Noona was lovely. But would have appreciated the shower screen to be cleaned daily. This hotel really came into its own when the war started we were effected by the and the lovely Pauline did everything g she could to ensure we kept our room for as long as we needed it. Close to beach, it’s a 5 to 10 min walk as a wall right opposite the hotel blocks it from being direct access Beach is lovely but very busy Restaurants and markets east walking distance too The hotel itself was nice very spa like , great deluxe room with a bath and views to the pool The pool was awesome and we could walk. Out our room in the pool and bar was opposite Staff were friendly and very helpful especially the managers in assisting us in arranging our transfer to airport They also organised a cake in my room fit my bday nice surprise Would def recommend and return if in Phuket

The whole experience was awesome . Location, Location,Location!! 5 minutes walk to Kata Beach, shop's and restaurants all within walking distance. The room was beautiful and spotless, the pools ( there's 3) were kept super clean. The food was delicious! But most importantly was the staff!! I have never seen as many smiles as i did at The Kata Palm Resort and helpful beyond words. 100% recommend staying here.

Quiet pool, spacious rooms, good location

We stayed for 7 nights and had a great time. The hotel has a more traditional main reception, although the accommodation blocks are more modern. We found the hotel to be clean and the staff polite and helpful. The pool is an oasis of peace away from the hustle and bustle of the main road outside. There are lots of sunbeds, but they are taken quite quickly — if you haven’t got one by 9am you might struggle. There is a policy that if you leave a sunbed unattended for 30 minutes then your belongings may be removed, but I only heard of this happening once in the 7 days. Breakfast was fine and the evening meal is good. However, there are numerous local restaurants within a 5-minute walk of the hotel, so there’s loads of choice. The beach is only a short walk away — maybe 15 minutes at a slow amble — where two sunbeds and an umbrella are available for 250 THB for the day. The room (we had a Grand Deluxe) was very spacious and the bed offered a good night’s sleep. The air con worked really well, and there is a fridge and a safe for valuables. The bathroom was fine, although the bath could do with being replaced. I’m not a fan of the huge window between the bathroom and the bedroom — maybe it’s my age! Fortunately, there’s a blind, so it’s not a problem. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.
