2.0Location, close to everything but bit scary at night. Hotel was dirty in the common areas and filthy in bedroom, would have checked out but no where to go. Bathroom thick with mould and grime, no plugs in sink or bidet, shower and sink blocked up quickly. Bath mat had black hairs from previous occupant. Two thin towels, never changed over 4 days, no room to open 2 suitcases at same time. Dark, depressing, tiny room, poor lighting and locks. Only a top sheet on bed, nothing else. No toiletries as such, tiny soap bar and tiny sachet of shampoo. Kettle provided but no cups,spoons,tea,coffee facilities, no glasses ,plastic tooth mugs as in cheap collapsible ones. If this is 4 star it must be out of a ranking of 50 stars.

The Regulation on the Rome Tourist Tax (resolution no.29 of 8 April 2021) provides for the payment of € 6.00 per person per night (excluding minors within the tenth year of age; sick people and those who assist patients hospitalized in facilities health, etc) for all nonresident guests in Rome staying in private apartments, including accommodations for tourist use.
The tourist tax will be paid by the guests exclusively at the time of check-in and will not be charged in advance by the hotel. The taxes on the room, VAT, etc, have nothing to do with the contribution of the Municipality of Rome. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance.
