Very not clean place, no air conditioning and very messy kitchen

Location is good for going to TD place watching games

− 1. The whole house smells indian food, very smelly; 2. The kitchen is shared with the landlord, it was really dirty and very messy, the fridge is full of landlord food. They are vegitarian so no meat are allowed to put in the fridge; 3. The room has no air conditioning and it was super hot and humid during our staying, it's hard to fell into sleep; 4. The room is noisy outside due to the windows have to be opened for cool down the house; 5. One of the bed is steel mesh foldable bed and one part was broken, we have to use a plastic bucket to support that corner so that the bed can be used to sleep;

Advertised as a B&B but there was no breakfast. The building is old and not that well maintained. Furnishings are also old and unattractive. Very cluttered. Cleanliness was average. The bedding was old and the bed was not well made. We had some doubts as to whether the sheets had actually been cleaned (hard to say with any certainty because of their age). We do not recommend unless you are in desperate need of a place to sleep for one night.

− L'accueil avec une impression de déranger, une grande surprise lorsque nous avons payé dans une salle dont je ne connais pas la fonction qui était dans un désordre considérable. Le sol collait sous les pieds et la salle de bain commune n'était pas propre, et pourtant nous ne sommes pas difficiles (prevoyez vos serviettes si vous désirez vous doucher). Les chambres étaient douteuses aussi avec une forte odeur d'humidité et de poussière. Nous avons juste dormi et nous sommes partis à la première heure. En tout cas nous n'avons pas été au courant d'un petit déjeuner. Je n'aime pas laisser de mauvais avis pour info !!

The hosts are very kind and friendly; however, the facilities could be improved. Specifically, rooms are NOT air conditioned, and this is very uncomfortable during Ottawa’s increasingly frequent heat waves. Also, common areas are jammed with stuff making it feel disorganized, untidy, dark and dusty. The furniture in my room was mismatched and very worn — beyond vintage charm. It’s great value for the location, but next time, I will shell out more for a regular hotel with air conditioning, decor that feels tidy and clean.

We didn't have breakfast there but we could have but I had coffee the hosts were amazing and I would come back again
