6.0Great central location! Room was much smaller than expected and everything was very worn down, although we were expecting it a bit to be fair. Reception isn't really a reception (which was surprising) and made it very tricky to find the hotel when we arrived in the wee hours of the morning (the door isn't clearly marked and appears to be more for private residences). Street noise travels into the rooms, so if you're staying on a Saturday night (which is when the bands play on the street in Nevsky Prspt), expect noise until after midnight at least.

6.0Location is fabulous, but otherwise it is an old hotel and feels like it. Ramp to pull suitcases up a pain. Good breakfast but missed water in fridge in room.
