When the heat is off, it's hard to be cheerful.
4.0The apartment is very clean and located right in the center of town. The kitchen facilities are very good. Overall, it was a solid place to stay. I usually prefer hotels, but except for the problem below, this seems like a better deal than any of the nearby hotels. Nice to have an apartment in the city.
− The first day there was no hot water, so there was no way to take anything but a quite cold shower, and there was no heat. It was fixed by the time I got back in the evening, but it was still uncomfortable. I paid extra for early check-in, because I wanted to take a shower, but there wasn't a whisper of a hint for a break on the price, even though the first night, the stay was far below par. There were lots of little irritations: the usual difficulty in communicating, when booking an apartment through Booking, stinky hallway, the motorcycle practice outside at 10:00, the TV with lots of promise and no CI module, but if I'd had heat, I would have been quite happy with it.

Great apartment but....
8.0The apartment was really nice and spacious with lots of windows. There is everything you need in the apartment and the layout is really nice for couples on vacation. There was no coffee maker but we got by with a dry coffee and hot water which was already available. Wish I could say that the location was perfect because in a way it is, short distance from downtown harbor and popular places, but the surrounding establishment was at fault (see below).
− I wish I could say that the stay was faultless but it wasn't. Not the apartment but the surroundings. The opposite building hosts some kind of youth center for boys and every night there were load noises. The first couple of nights we managed to get some sleep but then we had to call the police because boys were fighting and screaming constantly. One night they were throwing snowballs in the windows that were open. We were so surprised that this was happening because of all the reviews on the site it sounded perfect and no noise complaints.
Convenient and comfortable.
9.0The location was perfect at is was very central. It was a quick walk to everything–cafes, restaurants, shops, gym, supermarket. Parking was no problem at all either.
− One thing people staying MUST know is that the apartment is across from a youth center. It was pretty noisy until about 1am. Kids were hanging out outside being kids. They also kept revving their scooters and driving around. Apart from that, everything was great but this was a real bummer.

− The apartment was right across the street from some kind of teen center so could get quite noisy at night. Also, not easy to find and check in was different than what we are used to but the staff was great about helping with that.
