4.0The room looked OK but first glance was betrayed by all kinds of issues. The shower clasp was broken so the shower had to be held rather than act like a shower. Very difficult to believe that whoever cleaned the room the previous night didn’t notice and report this. The sink was cracked, only 1 of the 2 bedside lights was working … other than that! Food was ok, but in the restaurant for dinner they’d actually run out of bottles of red wine ..... in France! We endured a pichet of red, presumably from a wine box somewhere. The rather embarrassed waitress discounted our meal, which was nice. Here just 1 night, then moved to an airbnb. Never again at Campanile, after our 1 star experience in Nice. Told the guy on reception when checking out. No apology, just a Gallic shrug.
