Employees that hate their job
2.0Went to their sports center to ask if they had march madness brackets this was on Monday, March 16th. So then I ask if i could get 4 copies. She grabbed four of them , and on her way back to me , she goes , we're only supposed to give one per customer. Almost in a silent yell at me. So if this casino cannot afford three extra pieces of paper and have employees that act like this. I would really watch out if you go to this casino.
Stay Away
2.0Genuinely the worst kind of people imaginable. The people at the front desk have no human decency and are genuinely downright rude. Don’t plan on staying here unless you are planning to gamble, otherwise you are treated horribly. Worst hospitality experience I’ve had in my entire life.
Virgin River Casin and Motel 6
2.0Unfortunately, this property was in very poor condition. The shower was unclean, cigarette debris was floating in the pool, and there was dog waste directly outside the room. I have seen better places at Motel 6 Noise was a constant issue. Maintenance work began as early as 4:00 AM, making it impossible to rest. Additionally, there was significant disturbance from neighboring rooms, including loud yelling despite the area being designated as non-pet friendly. Overall, the environment felt unsanitary and poorly managed. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a clean, quiet, or comfortable stay.
Budget friendly place to stay.
6.0My wife and I stayed here for one night on our way to California recently. We have stayed here before so we knew that the hotel/rooms are pretty out dated. We paid extra for one of the new updated rooms. It was definitely worth the extra money. The bed was so much better than older rooms we’ve stayed in! It is a budget friendly hotel. The other hotels in the area were a lot more expensive than the Virgin River. The hotel restaurant has good food and we really liked the bowling alley. The hotel has plenty of parking and has great access to I-15. To check-in to the hotel you need to access the check-in desk from inside the casino. It an be very smokey inside from the people gambling. The hotel has free Wi-Fi, swimming pools and a place for your dogs where than can roam and play. Even though the Virgin River is out dated they are in the process of updating the rooms. Overall the hotel does offer good deals on their rooms and is a good place to stay.
Clean the shower drains, install blackout curtains
4.0The room was $80 because it was a “Refresh” of new flooring. The Virgin River Hotel should really *refresh* their shower drains. Those drains are clogged af. If this hotel really wants to “refresh,” they should also start with finally putting real blackout curtains in all the rooms or at least in their $80 “Refresh” rooms. Also, if this a non-smoking room? I honestly can’t tell. This hotel should try to “refresh” some rooms to be truly non-smoking.
Good overnight stop
6.0We needed a one night stay after visiting The Valley of Fire. We chose a refurbished room. The room was clean and comfortable, but spare. TV, shower, and AC were all working well. Check-in is inside the casino which is a cigarette smoke filled place. The check-in was proficient, but not particularly warm and fuzzy. Some of the questions were hard to hear with the bells and whistles of the casino behind me. The room doesn’t have any microwave or fridge. We were concerned about noise because we were ground level, the closest building to the casino and faced the parking lot, but we were not disturbed thankfully. We heard more noise from the people in the room next to us. They were not particularly loud, it’s just that the walls were thin. I would stay here again as a place to just sleep a night. The casino has a buffet that we did not eat at, and there is a variety of restaurants/fast food places nearby, plus a well stocked Smith’s grocery store
