Great Time at San Ignacio Resort Hotel
10.0We stayed in the Regal Queen room — quaint, spacious, very clean, and the beds were super comfortable. A welcome drink at check-in set the tone, and the on-site restaurant gave us several great meals. We also looked forward to their daily 2-for-1 happy hour. Staff were incredibly friendly and knew us by name the whole stay. The jungle views were beautiful, and we enjoyed the night tour hosted by a staff member at the hotel. It was a little scary but very fun, with glowing eyes from spiders and other wildlife visible through our headlamps. We enjoyed walking to downtown San Ignacio from the hotel. The room rates at the hotel was more than reasonable for what we got. Would absolutely stay here again!
Amazing experience, best staff ever!
10.0The staff at this hotel were the best I’ve ever experienced. There were always so many people available to help, advise, or simply greet and chat. Amazing food service, concierge help and guides. We used their airport shuttle service and one excursion and had amazing experiences with them all. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool is lovely and staff attentive for drink orders. Our expectations were far exceeded with our full stay here. I highly recommend this hotel!

8.0Staff is very attentive and responsive - showed genuine interest in our experiences Several meals ( lunch and breakfast )were outstanding Optional services and programs are terrific - Santos who lead the Birding event was exceptional
− Added fees were irritating and bordered on excessive Dinners were not on par with lunches, and our expectations - reminded us of "wedding food" - some aspects pre- prepared not memorable

10.0We had a wonderful stay at San Ignacio Resort Hotel, and the staff made the experience unforgettable. A huge thank you to David, our butler, who was absolutely outstanding. He was always prompt with our requests, made us feel incredibly welcome, and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing trip. We truly couldn’t have asked for better service. Israel was fantastic during our private “fish the Mayan way” experience—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the activity a lot of fun. Carlos was also an amazing guide on our cave tours and helped make those adventures memorable. The entire staff was warm, professional, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay special. We highly recommend this resort !
