Everything is great, besides dirty rooms
6.0This location is perfect for toddlers. We were a group of 7 with a 1,2, and 3 year old. There was something for all of them to do, not too spread out. Our room could’ve been better for the price we paid, our balcony door handle was falling off, broken coffee tables, the balcony had trash on it and we had a stained comforter. The employees were very pleasant and the hotel offers so many amenities for everyone
Family Fun
10.0Great Wolf Lodge - Wisconsin Dells. We visit every year even living in the area. Rooms are always clean and the staff very friendly. Our room was quiet and conveniently accessed. So many fun things provided without additional charges.
Needs a lot of staff and facility improvements
4.0Would not stay again. Our softball team was booked here for a weekend tournament. We were in 4th floor under a peak with bird’s nest and bird poop all over our deck. Decor is very outdated and both beds caved in the middle. The hallway was stifling. We had prepaid parking through our reservation. Spent at least an hour during my stay getting this cleared up with 2 different front desk staff and “Willow”, the text app, was completely useless. They wrote down a room number that does not exist when my parents checked and patronized them when they couldn’t find it. The staff other than the trainee I worked with could use some hospitality training.
It was a water park in the Dells…
6.0Overall, our stay was decent. Our room was ready way before 4pm on check in day which was a huge advantage cause our kids really needed breaks. The room Itself was zero frills but more or less did the job. Overpriced for the quality though. We had a first floor room right by all the attractions which was very convenient but very loud all night. The water park was nice. Congested walking spaces however and a very very small lazy river. My main complaints were that the housekeeping staff left bags of trash in the hallway for pretty much all day which was kinda gross to walk past all day. I also got my Kids wolf passes so the extra stuff wouldn’t have to be more spending once we were there but everything was a constant upsell. I bought the pass to avoid all of that yet it was constantly oh that bear isn’t included or that magic wand will cost you more. I found that disappointing after paying for the top level kids pass already. I found the arcade games to be really nice and well maintained (the prize redemption is fun but it’s just basic cheap dollar store stuff so don’t be holding your breath for awesome prizes) but the games themselves are really fun for kids. Overall, it is kinda what one would Expect for a tourist trap water park experience.
All in all ok
6.0Location is great. We have a 2 year old and 4 year old and the slides/water park features were just right for their ages. The room was ok. We had the kids cabin suit, the beds were not comfortable. We all ended up sharing the Queen, which wasn’t much better. We had a balcony, the view was of buildings and the “wood logs” were falling apart w/ Styrofoam showing. It did have a fridge and microwave which was a nice feature as we brought snacks and drinks. The bathroom left much to be desired. The exhaust fan was COVERED in dust. The entire place had minimal lighting as well. I truly expected more activities for the kids. Story time was mechanical creatures telling a story you could barely hear. Would have loved a wolf character read to the kids. I also would have loved to have more breakfast options for the kids on site that were reasonably priced. That being said- we enjoyed Cracker Barrel across the street. All in all the kids had a great time and didn’t notice most of these things. It’s a nice touch they offer towels and life vests and I did appreciate the attentiveness of all of the life guards.
Great wolf lodge in Wisconsin don’t owe me nothing!!
