8.0Iconic building close to Charlottetown restaurants and bars and good access to nice scenery, as well as great for parking. Good base to drive out and see other parts of PEI from.
− It is what it is - the historic element of it means it’s a little dated and tired but also part of its ‘charm’. It was good enough as a base to stay and travel out but it wasn’t the perfect stay to be there longer than a couple of days.
The Great George Hotel is perfectly located and a very classy establishment.

− No real dining area on site.

− Indtjekningsprocessen var langsommelig. Værelserne var sent klar. Morgenmaden var besværligt at spise, fra en lav lænestol ved et lavt sofabord.
Gorgeous place and room, breakfast ok
9.0The location, atmosphere, and room were great.
− The only weak point was breakfast. The available buffet items were adequate (barely), but the seating arrangements were weird - sitting in the big armchairs with breakfast on the small, low coffee tables. But, on balance, I was happy to put up with the breakfast.
Underwhelmed by the facility when considering the nightly rate.
6.0The breakfast selection was very good. Sitting in club chairs and eating off of coffee tables/end tables was not ideal.
− The hotel was clean and comfortable but for the cost per night, I was expecting something extremely lavish. Lavish was not the word to describe this hotel. Extremely overpriced.
