The hotel itself was very good. Location was near I91 but very quiet and 10 minutes away from Bradley Airport. Housekeeping could have been better. We needed to ask for washcloths and room could have been cleaned a little better. During breakfast the phone at the front desk rang several time and no one was there to pick up. Same when we checked out. We will choose a different hotel next time.

No frills hotel

Very no frills. It’s a no smoking hotel but must’ve been smoking before. I smelled remnants of smoke in the room. . The breakfast was very sub par. The sausages were grey and coffee was very watery. Probably wouldn’t stay again. The one plus is that they let us check in early which was nice of them.

This property should no longer be a comfort inn.

1. I called the day before for an early check in at 1 pm as I had a business meeting to attend as I was dressed in sweat pants and a t-shirt. My room wasn’t ready until 5 pm. 2. I appreciate a green hotel that doesn’t change the linens daily. The bed was not made or trash was not emptied for three days. 3. You can’t identify who is staff versus a guest. The staff doesn’t wear a corporate shirt or name tag. 4. No quiet hours. I was awoken at 1:30 am to the adjoining room having an after hours party and didn’t quiet down until 5 am. I don’t call the front desk as nothing probably would not have happened. 5. Shower wall had mold/mildew in a corner - see picture. 6. The tray that has an ice bucket was dirty and chipped - see pictures. 7. Wet floor sign in the elevator- see pictures.

Arrival on Saturday evening, status in loyalty program not recognized. Given room on third floor. Get to the room there is a red light on the card reader and of course both keycards do not work. Down to the front desk and FDC said he thought "they had fixed the lock". It now seems that we will have to stop and wait at the front desk for the FDC to escort us to our room to let us in via a physical key. Asked for a different room and told there is none available. At this point, we just felt we had to deal with and enter our room. Room was basically clean but small things stood out with dust in corners, dirty ice bucket and cover with NO liner for the ice (Used a ziplock I had). Hang my coat? well there were two metal dry cleaner hangers and nothing else. How about washing my hands? Our total towels were two bath towels, one wash cloth and a floor towel. No hand towels, no spare toilet paper. So now had to leave the wife in the room as we don't have a key and down to the front desk. Told there were no more towels. So now this two day stay we have to stop and wait on line to be let in our room, use the same bath towel to dry our hands and take a shower. ANd for breakfast one of stays in teh room or again wait for the FDC who was not at the desk at all times or wait in line at the desk for the FDC to be available to let us in the room. Never offered any compensation, not even points and when asked for compensation was told I had to speak to the nonexistent manager who supposedly fixed the door lock but I think the red light gives it away the lock was not fixed. This establishment not up to the standard of a Comfort Inn in the Choice program.

I booked this for my wife and teen daughter who were making a visit to Amherst to see our older daughter. They had a late flight and I wanted to put them near the airport for convenience. Got the message below from my wife, very alarming given the positive reviews on Expedia. Not sure I will trust Expedia reviews or really trust Comfort Inns in general. "Appreciate the thought of being somewhat close to the airport but next time I’ll drive to Hadley at any time or write this one down as not good. Odd area. Had to park across a big busy street and cross in the dark. Guy outside on his phone threatening someone for money. Two women get dropped off in front of hotel then in the elevator with us obviously high on something. Almost midnight and can hear lots of talking. Be out of here soon. Yay."

The toilet seat was broken. The sink wouldn’t drain. The bed had a weird stain on the cover blanket.
