We were disappointed in some aspects of the hotel, considering the price we were paying.

Breakfast was quite good, with lots of choice. Front desk staff were friendly.

− The room was large and clean, but lacking in many amenities, such as : no drawers and little storage space, particularly short of counter space, shelves and hooks in the bathroom; no washcloths/facecloths to use with the provided bodywash; no coffee creamer or milk powder for the coffee machine; took 2 days for requested extra pillows to arrive. The room was very noisy at night - not from other guests, but from passers-by in the surrounding streets. Lots of shouting, singing, partying, yelling, etc. until 2;00 to 3;00 a.m., which kept waking us up even though we were on the fourth floor.

− nao gostei do pessoal da repccao um pouco arrogantes nos fizerao esperar ate as tres horas para fazer che kin estavamos ali esperando que nos dissessem alguma coisa e nada as 15h e cinco minutos chegarao alguns 8 clientes comecou atender e nos mandou ficar para o fim depois me pedirao meu cartao de credito e os codigos uma coisa que nunca vi e nao ouvir falar disso assim por isso fiquei muito chatiado e nao gostei disso se ja tinha pago para que precisao do cartao e codigo

First the pros- hotel is in a wonderful location to access some of the highlights of Reykjavik. Secondly, the staff were just lovely & tried very hard to assist you as best they can. I was with a Viking tour group the end of June & a young male employee who was at the desk at 5pm with a name that sounded like Kobar went of his way to help me secure sturdy tape to apply a temporary remedy to my significantly damaged suitcase that had arrived from the airport. On the negative side, as noted by previous guests, the breakfast buffet is lukewarm at best. They use a heat light instead of an enclosed serving dish to keep the food so called warm. Dinner was tasty & appropriately cooked. We were “upgraded” but the room’s room darkening shades did not function in that capacity. Light came in from both sides the entire length of the curtain & the wood floor had deep gouges in the floor. The hotel gives off a dull darkish appearance & could use a refurbishment.

Convenient, central location. Spacious room with full-size bath. The most comfortable bet you can imagine!!! Worth every penny!

− Not cheap, but nothing in Reykjavík is.

Esmorzar buffet. Nevereta a l'habitació. TV gran

− Habitacions petites amb teulada incòmode i fàcil xocar-hi. Lavabo realment petit (menys de 3 metres quadrats). Esmorzar box lamentable el dia que marxàvem a les 6:00. El primer dia ens van donar una habitació que no havien deixat llesta, tenia els llençols i tovalloles pel terra. Entre l'ascensor i la nostra habitació hi havia 6 esglaons incòmodes. La televisió no era Smart TV.
