Hotel was very tired. Staff missable. Junior suit very smelly. Would not go back there or recommend it

Excellent stay at this well established top class Portuguese style hotel.
9.0Excellent buffet breakfast with omelettes prepared to order. Attentive and friendly staff. Very spacious, both inside and outside. Plenty of events and entertainment in the bars and restaurants.
− We arrived quite late and consequently didn't get a full introduction to this quite large hotel. Of course we found our way after the first day.
Over-priced and aging for the standard offered. Unpleasant smells

− Very musty (old folks home) smells throughout hotel . Very old fashioned decor & furniture. Expensive for what it was. Better 5* on the island.
