A great opportunity to relax in this fabulous hotel with everything you could want on hand.
9.0Being a monastery conversion this hotel is on a grand scale. The rooms are large and spacious and well appointed - a free glass of port as well. The views over the valley below were fantastic - especially at sunset. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. The pool was fabulous with its own bar and bites to east. We had some excellent dishes for dinner but...see below The gardens were a joy to walk around.
− The remote location of this hotel does not allow for a leisurely walk to a nearby restaurant so the hotel fare is what we went for. There is a good a la carte menu with some superb local dishes but we thought there were 2 or 3 choices that were disappointing and we told the staff accordingly.
