10.0Very clean & comfortable. Ling was a fantastic host , friendly smile & nothing was to much trouble.
− THE STAIRS!! As we were on the top floor it was quite a trek up & down. Maybe a small stairlift could be installed ?
It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay that met all our needs and more

− Tad warm but to be expected in this heatwave. Parking - very tight entrance and pain at having to move vehicle by 0830 each morning.

10.0This was a return visit. We were greeted warmly by Richard and made welcome. The shower was beautifully clean with towels and wash and our comfortable bedroom had view of the river. The room was light and airy and there was a fan and large bottle of water already in the room. The weather was exceptionally hot. Ling had this covered. The breakfast was great, everything prepared to order with attention to our preferences. Plenty of tea and toast and a selection of cereals and fruit as well as any cooked order. Ling is friendly and interested in our holiday plans,our comfort and wishes. Both Richard and Ling make this a guest house you want to return to. Their attention to us and to detail makes for a very enjoyable stay.
− It's would be hard to find something not to like. The dining room overlooks the river and the bridge. The window boxes add wonderful colour and the access walkway and porch are pleasant too. The stairs wind and are quite narrow but I'm sure Richard would have carried the bags had we arrived with them in hand. It is clear that both he and Ling want their guests to have an enjoyable and hassle free stay. This guest house is an older building with character so the rooms have large sash windows and some are an odd shape this only adds to its charm. It's position by the river and near the centre of town is great and the weekend parking a bonus. We'll keep coming back.
