10.0Great old time vibe hotel. Rustic and super clean. We stayed in the main hotel. It was very quiet and had a great night sleep. Don't miss the old time elevator!

8.0It is a historic hotel, the rooms were small but very clean. The restaurant had terrific food and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly. It was a nice stay.
Een dikke aanrader als onderdeel van onze rondreis/ roadtrip.
8.0Het had enorm geregend, waardoor er overstromingen waren en o.a. ook de kelder van El Rancho ondergelopen is. Hierdoor deed de airconditioning het niet en was er geen warm water om te douchen. We kregen de optie voor een volledige teruggave en ergens anders heen te gaan of blijven en 20% korting. We zijn gebleven, want wilden graag in het iconische hotel overnachten. Het beste moment was de rondleiding van Leroy McCray, waarbij hij ons aansprak toen wij in de geweldige lobby bij de open haard zaten. Leroy vertelde fantastische verhalen over de geschiedenis van het hotel die hij grotendeels van andere gasten en bewoners van Gallup had gehoord in de 30+ jaar dat hij er nu werkt. Aansluitend konden we meteen een drankje doen in de 49er bar.
− Het was jammer dat ze zo’n last hadden van de regenval/ wateroverlast, maar dat is overmacht van de natuur.
