− Mijn kamer had meerdere tegeld los liggen of kapot, veel kalk aan de douche kraan. Als je in bed lag en je keekt naar boven zag je meerdere spinnenwebben hangen.

L’emplacement est parfait : à seulement 5 minutes à pied de la plage, en plein cœur de Sitges, à proximité de la gare, des restaurants et des commerces. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent, sous forme de buffet très varié et copieux, avec un large choix de produits sucrés, salés, de fruits et de boissons. La chambre est spacieuse, très propre et calme. La salle de bain est grande et la douche à l’italienne est vraiment très agréable. Les rangements sont également appréciables, avec une grande armoire, des tiroirs et une penderie.

− La chambre qui nous a été attribuée était en rez-de-chaussée et donnait sur une toute petite cour intérieure entièrement entourée de murs. Elle manquait donc énormément de lumière naturelle : il fallait allumer les lumières même en pleine journée. Cette configuration rendait la chambre très humide, avec une odeur d’humidité persistante, et les vêtements ou maillots de bain ne séchaient pratiquement pas. Le sèche-cheveux fourni était de très faible qualité et peu efficace. Le personnel ne nous a pas semblé particulièrement chaleureux. La communication en anglais était parfois compliquée et, lorsque nous demandions de répéter, nous avons ressenti un certain manque de patience, ce qui a rendu les échanges un peu moins agréables. Enfin, certains équipements annoncés n’étaient pas présents dans notre chambre, notamment le miroir grossissant indiqué dans la description.

Nice pool

− Rubbish cleaners. Room smelt of drains so we had to get moved. Staff very uninterested. Air con not very good neither was TV.

The location of the hotel is good, it is right in the centre of town in Sitges. The room was spacious and clean.

− Unfortunately, I found the hotel be quite misleading compared with how it is presented on Booking.com. The hotel and rooms are much older than they appear in the photos, and the pool area is significantly smaller than expected. It was extremely cramped and crowded, so it didn't feel like a relaxing environment at all. I paid extra to upgrade to a premium "garden view" room, but apparently garden view means a room directly overlooking the pool. Rather than a peaceful garden view, it was exposed to constant noise from the pool area, including loud music and groups of drunk guests throughout the entire day. It made relaxing in the room impossible. The hotel also has very poor sound insulation. Every night and morning I was woken by slamming doors, people talking in the corridors, and furniture being dragged around. I barely slept during my stay. When I raised these issues with reception, I didn't feel they were helpful. The only alternative room offered was effectively a downgrade, with a window facing a wall, despite the fact that I had paid extra for a premium room. As a result, I decided to check out early and book another hotel at my own cost. Overall, I felt the hotel was falsely advertised and did not provide the relaxing experience or standard that the listing and photographs suggested.
