10.0Excellent spa services by an outstanding staff. Highly welcoming and professional attitude and greeting greeting extended by Jang which set the tone for a delightful experience. Massage services by Lisa were top notch. An expert in her skills and abilities. The venue is truly the Gold Standard of my spa experiences.

Wonderful Experience
10.0I love this hotel. 15 years ago when it was a Sheraton, we came every year when my kid was young (he learned to swim here with a coach). It left the Starwood system. I just found out it came to Intercontinental so I came back even though I only have platinum IHG status. I'm glad I came back. I had a wonderful time and recognized some of the staff, especially the head pool guy, from 15 years ago. He and the pool boys are wonderful. They offer free bottled water at the pool which is great because too many hotels don't offer water and especially don't offer bottled water. To my surprise, the hotel looks nearly identical to 15 years ago. It seems like there has been very little renovation. This can be an issue for some. The shower faucet is loose, pathways look a little dinged up. It's not a modern, brand new resort. But that's the charm and why I like it. The pool isn't sleek. It's got beautiful stone that's isn't smooth and the pool has a beautiful blue tilework. The pool areas are gorgeous and look different from all other hotels that are super sleek. You'll have a 5 star experience and stay even if the rooms themselves are more 4 stars. Sheets and towels were a little thin and no bar soap was offered (but they nicely had 2 full bottl s of Byredo hand wash in the room). They offered to send more free water and coffee capsules to room. So the room was comfortable but not ultra luxurious. Food at infinit was excellent. I had a seafood platter and salmon with spinach and bacon. Well done. Breakfast buffet was just ok. 4 star. Not the wow factor with tons of choices you get at other resorts. Staff were super friendly. Hotel is 15 minutes drive from the craziness of the party scene in Pattaya so it's close enough to get if you want it, far enough if you want to be isolated. This hotel is perfect for couples or families with young children. I loved coming back. I'll come back again in the future for sure - 1-2 times a year and hopefully with my adult son. Even though I don't get free upgrades to suites etc since I'm not really an elite member at IHG (like I am with Hyatt, Marriott and Hilton), I'll come back because the place is great, as are the staff. Highly recommend but be aware it's not highest luxury in fittings.
