Wonderful location right next to a beautiful beach staff are friendly as is everyone in Thailand. The room was well presented had everything you need shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion and body wash. The room service was excellent, they changed the room every day. New towels every day wonderful tidied up the room, left it in an excellent state and was overall brilliant experience. Bell boys were good bringing the stuff up to your room. And there's got to be particular attention paid to the bar staff and restaurant staff who work hard in extreme heat for not a lot of money and give a brilliant service, always with a smile. In particular Riff and Ball were awesome for us as they looked after us very very well. I highly recommend this hotel as a great place to say. Yes some of the drinks and food at the hotel may be overpriced a little but it's still Thailand and it's cheap. But if you just walk outside the hotel there's lovely restaurants to eat from all of them, we never had a single piece of bad food or drink. You walk up and down the coastline there's some wonderful restaurants to eat, they're all really well recommended. Wewent up to Patong to the shopping that's awesome all around there so that's only 300 baht to get there well worth it awesome Hotel come here.

Extremely disappointing Hotel Expereince

My stay at Orchid was extremely disappointing due to the on-site tourism desk near reception (blue shirt staff). After being scammed by an external agency (Nice N Easy) across the street, the hotel representative(Chantana) advised me to only book through their desk, claiming it was safer and that the hotel would support us if anything went wrong. Trusting this, I rebooked the same trip for 8600 baht (almost double the 4400 baht I originally paid). However, the experience was misleading: We were greeted and checked in by Alex at the site, instead of informing us during check in that all activities were cancelled, she boarded us on the boat, took us to the beach then informed us that our plans have drastically been changed. My package included 2 activities and 2 snorkeling sites, but we only received 1 snorkeling site and limited alternatives We were told all water activities were canceled due to weather, despite this being known all month The replacements swing, or massage) were not suitable, especially as I was traveling with children Instead of proper compensation, we were offered 450 baht drinks for activities worth ~2000 baht+ Even worse, I later saw other guests doing water activities. When I requested a fair price adjustment based on what we actually received, the agency refused, claiming I “accepted” the drinks instead. The hotel manager’s response was simply that I could call the police. This felt like being passed from one scam to another. ⚠️ Be very cautious — booking through the hotel tour desk does NOT guarantee legitimacy or support, do not choose any premium packages, and ask them to call the beach to cover the :weather and tides as they are all aware of the conditions before you arrive to the site. Shame on chantana and the Phuket Orchid staff and SHame on Alex from the banana beach and their deceitful tactics
