10.0My private room was clean and beautiful. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The only con is if you have "sweet blood" like me you will get eaten alive. BRING MOSQUITO/BUG REPELLENT!!! I didnt bring any. The hotel is situated in lots of vegetation so mosquitoes are crazy. Its also very easy to catch a cab or the bus directly in front of the hotel. Food was fresh and delicious for both breakfast and lunch.

6.0It was my second time visiting this place. I have to say that the rooms are great, but they are too noisy. I chose the jungle room, but I ended up in a different room facing the beach, where all the music is playing. Some of the employees on the beach were really nice, while others seemed like they didn’t want to wake up in the morning and come to work.

10.0We really enjoyed Mayan Monkey - we stayed for two days. The beachfront the great, room was nice and the amenities offered were good. The only downside I have to offer, the service was so slow in the restaurant, bar and beach club. While most of the staff were phenomenal, that aspect also restricted our ability to order more of what we wanted since everything took so long. Otherwise, an awesome stay and will definitely consider coming back. Thank you!
