We made it work, beautiful lake views. Just really outdated.
4.0The hotel is very outdated. The paint is peeling in many areas including in the room. The door outside had rust and peeling paint. Lighting was very old and very dim. No brightness to the place. Breakfast was ok, but that is all I would give it even though it said exceptional breakfast.

Great location, lousy accommodations!
4.0The setting of the lodge was beautiful. There was great views behind the lodge of the lake and so forth, but that’s where it ends. The rooms were drab, dingy, chipped tile, ancient carpet and ants, tiny trash cans, and the air conditioner in the bed room did not work well the room did not get cool. We will never go back. It is a shame the owners take no pride and their facility and their lodge rooms to update them. It would not take a whole lot. Just a few things would freshen it up some. When I booked the room on Booking.com, I did not see a place to request an ADA room and I called the facilities. Spoke to Bob and he said he would behold me an ADA room that it was on the very end on the first floor with no view when we got there the room was not available so I was forced to upgrade to a king parlor because that was the only one that had the walk-in shower for my husband and I had to pay an extra $500 Stacey the manager refused to work with me and said that I booked a regular room and I upgraded . They forced me to upgrade because that’s what I had to have for my husband, who is a disabled veteran. The housekeeping staff could not have been more wonderful. They were very quick to provide anything we needed and very kind and gracious about it. Let the buyer beware.

9.0Location, location, location! We stay a lot because of how convenient the location is and we like everything about the lodge.
− No real complaints, maybe wish the beds were a little more comfy, but they are not bad.

8.0Loved the location. If you are going to an event at the fairgrounds, this is the place to stay.
− A little outdated. Not enough places to charge your devices. A couple of the lights did not work. A couple of tiles in the bathroom were loose and i tripped and fell into the sink.
Blessed staff and comfortable room.
