6.0Good location, clean pool, nice people around and amenities and close to the beach. However a few things would make this property better: wifi connection (dropping sometimes and not quite available in the room), darker blinds (room is so bright) and breakfast (although super basic it’s still ok, but once the coffee dispenser is empty, it’s not filled up - even if it’s within the breakfast hours). Cheers!

10.0I've stayed at Hotel Luna Llena twice since 2024, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite spots in Tamarindo. This charming little oasis tucked into the jungle offers a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere just a short walk from the beach and everything the town has to offer. The included breakfast is simple but satisfying, with delicious coffee and my personal favorite—the pancakes! On my most recent visit, I stayed in one of the bungalow rooms, which featured a cozy, round design and a small kitchenette that came in handy. The property is clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. I’ll definitely be coming back! The pool is focal point and just wonderful to float around in.
