The host was easy to communicate with. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful and we were able to view the northern lights from the comfort of the front porch. It was a memorable experience.

DO NOT BOOK this property. You are expected to clean the property before leaving and put the sheets on your bed along with the cover for the duvet. The note we received from the owner told us that if we did not clean it property, we would be charged 60 euros. Who goes on vacation and makes and strips beds and vacuums and mops the floor? The ad on expedia states that the professionally cleaned... this is a lie! Or the cleaner should be fired! Expedia should not be listing this property on their site given my complaint and the reviews from others.

Llegamos al alojamiento y no nos habían realizado el checking. Llevábamos todo el día intentando contactar a través de la aplicación y no hubo manera. Encontramos un número cuando llegamos y tuvimos que llamar y esperar a que nos enviaran las instrucciones. Lo más destacable es que la cabaña es muy bonita y el entorno también. Por lo demás, tuvimos que hacernos nosotros las camas (colocar sabanas, vestir edredones, etc). Y lo mejor es que si no quieres que te cobren 60 € más, tienes antes de irte, que deshacer camas, fregar el baño y pasar la aspiradora. Hay un cuadro enmarcado con todas las instrucciones. Es la primera vez que me pasa en un alojamiento. Siempre dejo todo recogido y ordenado como lo he encontrado y si ensucio algo lo limpio. Me ha dado la impresión de que lo hemos dejado preparado para el siguiente cliente.

Emplacement au bout du monde à proximité de la route principale vers Höfn. Calme avec une vue imprenable. Spacieux, propre.

− Impossible de payer via booking, malgré un changement de carte au cas où, alors que tous nos autres logements s’étaient réglés sans problème. Il aura fallu une fois sur place , allé à hofn à environ 15 kms pour retirer de l’argent en espèces pour régler le logement. Une incompréhension totale!!
