Hospitality Isn't About Perfection—It's About Caring
2.0After two wonderful family vacations here, we were extremely disappointed by our most recent stay and ultimately checked out two days early. As the General Manager of a full-service Hilton, I understand that things can go wrong in hospitality. What matters is communication, accountability, empathy, and how a team responds when problems arise. Unfortunately, this resort fell short in every one of those areas. For the third consecutive year, the indoor pool was closed, and this year it was being used for mattress and set supply storage. The pavilion pool was also closed, yet there was no communication before arrival and no disclosure on the website. We were mistakenly checked into another family's cabin, our cabin smelled heavily of smoke, contained evidence of previous guests, and had a refrigerator with incorrect parts. Although management promised to address these issues, no one followed through, no one checked back, and we were never offered a different cabin. The final straw was a water main break outside the resort that affected the water supply. While the break itself was not the resort's fault, the lack of communication and empathy absolutely was. Despite multiple requests for updates, there was no clear information, no visible urgency, and no meaningful effort to reassure guests or preserve the vacation experience. Hospitality is not about perfection. Every hotel and resort faces challenges. It is about ownership, communication, and recovery when things go wrong. Sadly, this resort consistently failed to meet those expectations. What was once a place where our family made incredible memories has become a resort we can no longer recommend. If you are planning a family vacation, I would strongly encourage you to consider other options.

10.0The stay was peaceful, Im looking forward to my next stay
They are going thru extensive renovation, and everything feels brand new.
8.0The resort has been doing renovation inside and outside. Everything is pretty new and my outdoor deck in the 2 bdrm cabin is brand new. The 2bdrm cabin is the smallest 2bdrm timeshare I have ever stayed, but it is adequate for 3 to 4 peoples. Having only 1 bathroom and the only mirror in that bathroom, I realized how much bottleneck would that be. The unit is recently gone thru a complete renovation, and it is done decently, not just cheaply put together. Their $25/day resort fee is a bit much as it does not offered anything extra than common offering from other resorts. I don't even have any pool access in this trip because indoor one is closed for renovation while outdoor one is seasonal and is closed. Wifi did not work in my unit, but works perfectly in the checkin bldg.

Repairs Notice: The resort is in the process of making repairs after a damaging snowstorm that occurred in January. The resort is completing repairs to the roofs that were damaged during the storm which may result in a quick repair to your unit. The repair work should take no more than 30 minutes and, in most cases, will have very minimal impact. The work is being completed from approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm daily through April 30th. This necessary work will help improve and preserve the resort so that all owners & guests may have a wonderful vacation home for many years to come. While the project may involve the distinctive sights and sounds of construction in progress, every effort will be made to minimize any impact on your vacation experience. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in.
