Great family vacation
10.0Our children and grandchildren joined us and we all enjoyed the week. Beautiful setting and environment. Be prepared to do a fair amount of driving to see sights. Due to terrain is takes a while to get from one place to another.

10.0Very friendly staff and beautiful views. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. A great get away for couples and families.
Very Disappointing
2.0I am embarrassed to be an owner at this property. The staff was wonderful. The rooms were in disrepair, many items did not work, the pool areas and furniture need repair and replacement. When I asked about moving to a different Unit(s). I was told the resort was overbooked.
Beautiful rooms!
8.0We have been visiting VV in the Berkshires since 2005. We lived in the Berkshires for nearly 2 decades and often visited just to take a break and not be at home when we couldn't travel far. Now that we live in Florida, it is nice to come home and have a familiar place to land. My only complaint is that the Berkshires in general leave so much money on the table. We vacation at Massanutten in Virginia which is also a ski resort. They have activities year-round and not just on the weekends. The place is hopping at all times. I feel like VV and Jiminy could really amp things up and be more of a destination and not just a place to land to visit other things in the area. They could be like Massanutten and keep people on the mountain with weekday activities and more (OR ANY) restaurants, golf courses, play parks etc. This will not keep us from visiting when we come to see friends and family. Just a suggestion.
I can't say enough...
10.0...about the value of this resort's weekday rate for traveling with a large family. The condition of the property was excellent and both pools are expansive and wonderful with gorgeous mountain views. There is no food service on the property, so plan to grocery shop if you have an in-room kitchen or to take 20 minute drives to wider selections of restaurants. This stay allowed us to conveniently enjoy the Jiminy Peak mountain adventure park, Mt. Greylock, North Adams, and would have afforded much more if we had stayed longer. It had a lot of the allure of a White Mountains vacation without the crowds and longer drive (from southern New England).
Quiet In A World of Chaos
10.0The resort is located in the most beautiful part of Massachusetts. Surrounded by mountains at every turn, the greenery offers a wonderful escape from the cement of the city.
