Great location, super friendly. 100% reccomend.
10.0Location was great for working in Gunwharf, running along the esplanades and back into old Portsmouth for dinner. Super friendly, I was more than comfortable as a solo female. Great set up for getting in and out including out of hours and good room with en-suite. Overall good stay, and hope to be back. Thank you!

9.0Good location.
− No roulet in room 102
Great location and a bit different
7.0Great location, friendly staff, spacious room, fun bath, clean sheets and nice toileteries.
− Sofa bed was quite old and not made up for our son. Chairs and carpet were a bit dusty tho rest of the room was clean with fresh sheets and towels.
Avoid at all costs!
1.0Location...that's all that was good
− The room was awful...advertised as private bathroom..there was a shower cubicle in the corner of the room and a basin that was about the same size as one of the kids sandcastle buckets at Clarence pier. No mirror above it though, good job I electric shave! The toilet was around the corner in a different room...so not private...I wondered why the light in the room kept going off. Then I noticed it was hanging by badly put together electric cabling! (Picture attached)Room wasn't clean, I moved a chair to find a socket for my phone charger and found a previous guests shorts! But the worse was to come, on my 2nd night there was banging on my door at half past midnight, it was a man who works there with a card machine, telling me in no uncertain terms I needed to pay for my room. I had assumed my card would be charged automatically by booking.com ...now I'm a 6ft1 ex sailor. Imagine if I had been a lone woman..very intimidating!!! Avoid staying here at all costs, it isn't worth the 80 pound a night I paid!

9.0The Staff were very kind, helpful and friendly, the room was just the right size for our length of stay. The bed was very comfortable.
− The shower, kept losing pressure then the water would go from scolding hot to freezing cold, the water pressure is not consistent. Showering was a bit hit and miss.
Great location to explore Portsmouth
8.0Location in Portsmouth Old Town was perfect for us. Although above a busy pub, it wasn’t noisy. All the staff were friendly and welcoming.
− The decor was in need of a freshen up.
