Hotel recentemente renovado, instalações excelentes e localização prática no excelente Bairro de Monti. O bar no rooftop é ótimo para um drink antes de sair para jantar. Super recomendo

Lovely rooms, but dodgy and scam-y practices

The hotel itself is amazing - lovely, modern rooms in a great location. Everything worked well, it had clearly been refurbished recently.

− Be careful, because they will jump a bunch of hidden charges on you. They tried to talk us into paying nearly 200€ extra despite our reservation telling us we only owe them 48€ for city tax (we paid already via booking). One was an 'optional' service tax which they add by default. Thankfully, we managed to talk them out of this. But that wasn't all! They also insisted that we owed them a higher city tax than what was stated in our reservation. They claimed it was due to changes since our booking, etc, etc. Even if a change had taken place, you'd think you'd notify your guests about the fact that their stay costs more suddenly and give them an option to cancel. They wouldn't let us go without this. Just highly unpleasant overall and leaves you feeling scammed.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Raffaello in Rome and would happily stay here again! The location is fantastic — about a 16-minute walk to the Colosseum, 18 minutes to the Trevi Fountain, 20 minutes to the Spanish Steps, and 25 minutes to the Pantheon. The surrounding area is also wonderful, with so many shops, cafés and restaurants nearby. The customer service was truly unparalleled. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, and we loved the little touches like the espresso machine in reception and the pastries available every day. Breakfast was a fantastic spread, and they even brought out a slice of cake for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful surprise! A special mention to the lovely woman who hosts breakfast — she was absolutely amazing and made each morning even more enjoyable. Our room was lovely, and the air conditioning was excellent, which was especially appreciated during the hot Roman weather. The rooftop was another highlight — peaceful and quiet, and we really enjoyed relaxing there with €5 glasses of Chianti. 🍷 Overall, we had such a wonderful experience and couldn’t recommend Hotel Raffaello enough. Fantastic location, beautiful rooms, exceptional service, great breakfast and so many thoughtful touches. We would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Rome! 🇮🇹❤️

− We couldn’t cast or mirror our phone screen to the TV. We could play Spotify through the TV from our phone, but unfortunately screen mirroring wasn’t available.
