6.0The room was clean, the bathroom was good, staff were pleasant and the breakfast was good.
− The shower water was barely luke warm. They swopped my room but there little to no difference in the water temperature. They could also provide an ashtray for the room's balcony. The location is remote and it took me 2 hours and a ridiculous number of taxi cancellations to get a driver willing to do the trip. I eventually had to haggle with a Grab Taxi to take me at double the price initially quoted. I refused to make use of the hotel transfer at the ridiculous price of 800Bht.
Lovely stay, I'll keep my out for them in the future...

− As an Architect I understand that this hotel is run by a very good Group, however this particular hotel is starting to show a tired outdated Pebbledash... Needs a spruce up, time to renew and refresh!!! The pavilion accommodations in the adjoining International school owned by the same group looked enchanting...
Great Place, Food and Friendly Staff! 5 Days Conference!
8.0We recently had our conference at this place, all the guests we're attendees, so we're like renting the whole place. Friendly and accommodating staff, we borrowed multiple small stuff from the hotel, and some staff are even willing to go an extra mile to help :) Awesome place to have your conferences at Suan Bua!
Great for Conferences, peaceful garden setting
10.0I attended a conference in October 2018. Our conference attendees were the only guests. The garden and surroundings are stunningly beautiful. At night the frogs and insects serenade. The morning wake up call is done by the birds. The food was excellent as well as the service. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Please be aware that the location is some distance from Chiang Mai city. Suan Bua is good for conferences and retreats away from it all. If you want to enjoy the night markets, tours or other activities in Chiang Mai, know you are some distance away. I have been to Suan Bua for a number of conferences. This was the most pleasant visit. There is a laundry option, coffee shop and other amenities just outside the main gate if you want something different.
