10.0Excellent location, apartment was spacious. Acs were amazing as it was very hot in July. Spacious Appartment, lovely resident with great host.
− Upon arrival water taxi wasn’t very helpful with new tourist first time in Venice. However, we reached and were overcharged.
There were 6 adults and two teenagers and everyone loved Corte Grimani and Vanessa, especially.
10.0We loved our time in Venice. Vanessa met us at the Corte Grimani (we took a fast water taxi from the airport directly to the front door of the Corte Grimani). Vanessa was waiting (she in fact helped us arrange that taxi). She was wonderful - helpful, patient in answering our questions, very informative, and sweet. On the day we left she even escorted us in the shortest route to the vaporetta to catch the fast train to Rome. The Corte Grimani was perfectly situated near iconic spots like the Rialto Bridge and St. Marks Square. First night we did a walking food and wine tour of the small local food and wine establishments that included a full meal at a wonderful restaurant. Of course, that night ended with some delicious gelato. Next day, again with Vanessa's assistance, we grabbed the water taxi to Murano to tour the island and catch an artisan glassblower create a beautiful vase. Caught another water taxi to go to Burano, noted for its lace creations as well as colorful houses. I recommend this approach rather than booking the Murano/Burano tour through a third party as you get to spend as much or as little time as you want at each location. Quick bite and drinks were refreshing before returning to Corte Grimani. And, once again, thanks to Vanessa's help, the next day we made it smoothly to the train station for our trip to Rome.
− Bathroom could use more hooks to hang wet towels.

10.0The hotel is excellent, very clean, we were in a classic room - a very spacious apartment, the children have a large sofa bed and another single bed that can be pulled out. The reception was very nice. The hotel is a 5-minute walk (no stairs) from the Rialto Bridge/Station (this is a central destination and where you get off on buses or water taxis). Highly recommended.
