Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.
7.0Old world charm, very comfortable overall, nicely decorated in keeping with federation feel of the house. Loungeroom perfect for getogethers. A well heated house for a winter getaway, with both fireplaces as well as central heating. Ideal for four couples.
− Bathrooms . Difficult to access. One accessed by a narrow spiral stairwell, the other up and down stairs via loungeroom, which proved a problem for some of the group. We felt not suitable for older travelers or toddlers.

8.0Lots of space for family and all the items you could think of for meal preparation and a thoroughly enjoyable stay despite the heavy rain and fog. It's an easy walk to town, mountain walks and if only it'd been warm we could have walked to and swum at Blackheath Pool.
A great place to stay with friends and family. I would happily go back
