10.0An outstanding lodge with friendly, knowledgeable staff, excellent food, unique treehouse accommodations, and an exquisite location that was a highlight of our NZ trip. The spa was lovely and professional. All in all, a beautiful retreat that we would not hesitate to visit again.

A Truly Special Stay
10.0We stayed in one of the tree houses this past February 2026 and had a wonderful experience. I had expected something more rustic, but it was actually very comfortable and thoughtfully designed. The setting is beautiful. From our tree house we could see deer and mountains in one direction, and the ocean and olive groves in the other. It really did feel like being up among the trees. Inside, everything was well done—the seating area, balcony, and even the small kitchenette. The bathroom was a highlight, especially the shower with a view. The bed was also extremely comfortable. The pool, hot tub, and sauna area were peaceful and a great place to unwind. We also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant and appreciated how accommodating they were with different dietary needs. One evening we did the stargazing experience, which I would definitely recommend. The staff were consistently warm and helpful. Lisa, in particular, stood out, but everyone we interacted with was lovely. Overall, this is a very unique property in a beautiful setting, and we’re really glad we stayed here.
