− Being up in the 6th floor,seagulls squawking aw night,the no air conditioning, room was like a furnace,no plug sockets near bed,tatty furniture, dated decor,sticky carpet.

Best Staff Ever!
10.0Location and staff were excellent, and rooms were spacious and spotless. The staff were contacted last minute by my sister in law on behalf of my partner to ask if they would decorate the room for my birthday and they did it without hesitation. Zoe & Amii were the staff who were responsible for decorating the room, and they both done an amazing job, massive thank you to both girls. Reception staff were lovely and extremely helpful, especially when we were in need of a fan and again without hesitation, we were instantly presented with one, as well as the iron board & iron. Mercure Hotel should definitely appreciate all staff working the weekend of 11th-13th of July 2026 as each & and every one of them were exceptional, INCLUDING the cleaning staff who were the nicest people who worked so hard in the heat. Massive appreciation and Thanks from Nadia and David. Room 662!!
