Comfy room pity about the smell

I have no comment to be honest. The bed was very comfy, did sleep very well, the shower worked ok. The room did have a smell. I had to buy air freshener. Many people who have stayed have complained about the dog smell in the hallway and I agree. Its a shame because it is in such a good location, close to the railway station, near to the town centre where they are fab places to eat.

We turned up at the hotel expecting onsite parking as it was advertised on the site that there was parking available. When we turned up, there was no onsite parking for cars and the area looked rough, not a nice place to leave a vehicle outside of. The place smelt absolutely vile as soon as the manager opened the door. The room we booked was a family room, but was not a family room and had just had an extra mattress put in the floor. There was dogs in the hallway barking behind a door and tissues and rubbish and dirt, possibly dog poo too as it smelt soo bad. We asked for a refund as we had no where to park our vehicle. The guy who was there pretended he was not the manager and tried to shut us out of the building. He eventually came out to talk to us with closing the door behind him not allowing us into the building and then walked away down the road leaving us locked outside the building and just left. The inside of the building was so disgusting and dirty, the smell made me want to vommit. The guy pretending not to be the manager was scruffy looking, with his zip undone and muck on his shirt. I do not recommend tgus place to anyone, not even a homeless individual. We did not stay there, we lost our money as we already paid for the booking online before we turned up and went to go gind a hotel inn to stay in.

Absolutely awful. The place smelt so bad. Carpets are thread bare. We had the thinnest of duvets on our beds. Dog barking periodically throughout the night in the garden. No parking as described. In street only. Was in a rush to get to our crossing in the morning after an awful night sleep and completely forgot to get pictures but it’s bad don’t waste your money. Our carpet had burns on and in general just wasn’t clean. Just so bad all of it !

1. really smelly the whol "hotel", since 3 small dogs on site 2. dogs sometimes barking, even at night 3. room toooooooo small and no space at all 4. shower very weak and poor 5. no towels 6. dirty place 7. heater broken - only has a heat fan (fortunately room toooo small that marginally can sleep 8. mattress NOT even 9. wi-fi very weak 10. finally, originally I have booked 2 nights, during the 1st night around 3a.m. - could not tolerate any more and booked a better hotel & rushed away .... even lost the rental fees STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS ONE!!
