Friendly staff and great breakfat.

Price (approx 500 chf per room & night) for value ratio seemed not right for our room;

Huus Gstaad is nicely located with beautiful mountain views; we arrived late and had quick dinner on one of the terraces before going on a hiking trip early next day

− We arrived late the night before a 2 day hiking tour; we rented a large room with 4 beds for one adult and 3 kids (<12 years); the room was very hot and 2 beds were located in a mezzanine; it turned out that the 2 beds in the mezzanine could not be used since the hot air remained trapped, resulting in a felt temperature > 35 C in that space, despite having all windows wide open; also a fan did not help; the room was facing a street with heavy traffic and it was very noisy in the room with windows open; we described the situation at check out early in the morning, but staff did not offer any form of recommendation or a gesture of goodwill, which seemed surprising;
