This place is in the top 500 bars...
10.0This place should be placed in the top 500 bars, within motorways services, in the Midlands. I guess it's alright in here. Lorraine makes it bearable, Nikky makes it better. Always cheerful
Great stay
10.0A wonderful stay at days inn. Lovely staff especially Lorraine on the front desk.

10.0Lorraine was spot on, nice n friendly gave off good vibes. An asset to the establishment
Room great - breakfast a big disappointment
8.0Stayed here Saturday night after visiting family. The room was very clean and comfy and staff were really friendly and welcoming. It was the breakfast (included in the price) in the service station that was such a disappointment: I opted for the vegetarian breakfast consisting of 2 veg sausages, 2 hash browns, baked beans, mushrooms and a fried egg. I saw some tinned tomatoes but they were "extras" at about £1.49 EACH!!!!! Really?????? I asked if I could have a drink of orange juice but that was over £3 extra. And to add insult to injury, even my cup of tea couldn't be delivered with fresh milk - it had to be the pre-packed stuff that tastes awful in tea. I was directed towards the Starbucks opposite where they had a flask of fresh milk available for people buying tea or coffee. After sitting down at a table to eat, my sister remarked "there isn't even any toast". Such a shame the breakfast quality lets the whole hotel down. We would stay again, but only if we couldn't find a Travel Lodge or a Premier Inn.

10.0I could not ask for any better service than what my wife and I had. I booked a saver room and made a mistake at booking and booked the wrong weekend, Via Booking.com I rang and spoke to Nikki at the hotel. When I spoke to Nikki she asked me to give her 1/2 an hour to ring her manager and seek advice as to what they could do, within 10 minutes I recieved a call back with the mistake I made rectified even though they did not have to. Common sense from Nikki and her Manager prevailed. On arrival of our stay Tarlek the receptionist had several residents to deal with in front of us. He dealt with each and everyone of us in a quick and efficient manner and had such a fantastic personality in what can be a wooden top woke society we live in. Tarlek was the same the next evening when we returned back to the hotel. The room was good value for money that we paid for but the staff mentioned and the Managers common sense approach was a breath of fresh air no jobsworth just good honest customer service from a good honest team. Would I stop here again....... no doubts whatsoever specially with the team that dealt with us.......Was I impressed........If I said I do not do reviews normally I felt with our experience the hotel, Manager Nikki, Tarlek and the team behind the scenes should be recognised and other customers she be privy to what my wife and i experienced. Value for money most definatley!!!
