6.0Storm Amy hit during our stay… limited back up with no power or heat & no recompense for lack of breakfast facilities etc. Poor communication from staff regarding the whole situation. Passages to rooms had emergency lighting but off prior to checkout & no windows to light passages. Lack of signage in a rabbit warren of passages, corridors & small flights of stairs to find way out/ reception etc. Disappointing, small room despite paying extra for a sea view. No window in bathroom so no light during powercut. However, room was clean, bed was comfortable.
